Starting August 1, 2007, all sales of Desktop and Notebook Computers, Monitors and Televisions, and Printers and Fax Machines within the Province of British Columbia will be subject to the new Environmental Handling Fee. Fees range from $5 to $45 plus taxes. The appropriate fees will be added to your invoice at the time of purchase.

All Mac Station stores will be closed Friday, April 6 for Good Friday. Mac Station in Burnaby will also be closed on Monday, April 9th, and all Mondays during Spring from thereon. We would be happy to help you in our Abbotsford or Vancouver locations on Mondays for now on.

Mac Station will be closed Monday, December 25th for Christmas, Tuesday, December 26th for Boxing Day, and Monday, January 1st for New Years Day. We will also be closing our Vancouver store at 3pm on Sunday, December 24, and Sunday, December 31st. Burnaby and Abbotsford are closed on Sundays. We will resume regular hours all other days.

For the past few months, our revamped online catalogue has given you the ability to peer into our inventory. We have now added the ability for customers to actually place orders online. More features will be added on an ongoing basis, but for now you can take advantage of the convenience of placing orders through our online store with the added benefit of free shipping via Canada Post Expedited Parcel service (Canadian customers only).

Our main service phone line is still offline, but you can still reach our service department on 604-628-2055. We apologize for the problem, but Telus is still working on it.

Due to a problem moving our phone lines from our old site, none of our Vancouver store’s phone lines are currently functional, and will not be fixed by Telus until tomorrow. In the meantime, you can contact us on our backup phone lines at 778-786-9167 for sales, or 604-628-2055 for service.

We’re moving! Our Yaletown store is one of the most stylish Apple Resellers around, but they’re tearing down our building to build more condos! Don’t worry though, we aren’t going very far. We’re moving just a half block down Homer near Nelson St. to a beautiful, larger location we’re designing from scratch. We expect to move in early December. It is with great sadness that we announce the closing of our Maple Ridge location today. Mac Station was founded in Maple Ridge back in 1993, and we owe our success today to the support of our Maple Ridge store customers. Unfortunately our industry has changed drastically over the past 11 years, and our Maple Ridge location is no longer viable. We will be re-opening our third location in another jurisdiction later this year, so stay tuned!

We use Macromedia Dreamweaver, FireWorks, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and GoLive for all web design. Our servers are operated primarily from our Vancouver store site via a T1 connection.
